Privacy

Paydex is built to know as little as possible. There are no user accounts, no passwords, and no email addresses. A merchant's identity is their wallet address; a paying customer needs no identity at all. This page lists everything we store, why, and what we never touch.

What we store about merchants

• The wallet address you sign in with (it is the account), and any payout addresses you register for other networks.
• The payments you create: amount, currency, network, your order reference and description, deposit and settlement transaction details.
• Your integration settings: webhook endpoint URLs and their signing secrets, and fingerprints (hashes) of API tokens. We never store an API token itself.
• If you enable notifications: your browser's push subscription or your Telegram chat id, used only to send you payment alerts, removable in Settings at any time.

What we store about paying customers

• Nothing personal. No name, email, or address is asked for or accepted.
• The payment itself: the deposit address we created, the amount, and the sending transaction, all of which are already public on the blockchain.
• If a customer chooses to leave a refund address on an overpaid or expired payment, we store that address so the merchant can see it.
• The language choice on the checkout is saved in the customer's own browser, not with us.

Blockchains are public and permanent

Payments settle on public blockchains. Addresses, amounts and transactions are visible to anyone and cannot be deleted by us or anybody else. Do not send funds from a wallet you consider private.

Who processes data for us

We run on infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf: hosting (Vercel, Railway), our database (MongoDB Atlas), and blockchain data services that watch deposit addresses and relay transactions (Tatum, Helius, and network RPC providers). When you connect a wallet in the dashboard or use one-click pay, the wallet connection is established by Reown (WalletConnect) tooling under its own privacy policy. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs; it sets its own cookies and processes usage data under Google's privacy policy. We do not sell data, run ads, or use advertising trackers.

Retention and removal

Payment records are the merchant's bookkeeping and stay for as long as the account exists. Notification subscriptions and webhook endpoints disappear as soon as you remove them. For anything else, write to hello@paydex.io from a message signed with, or clearly tied to, your merchant wallet.
